Welcome to the club! Honestly for our cars R2C's "true" ram air intake I feel is the best. You dont have to worry about hydrolocking like most CAI out there. And this RAI actually pulls cold air straight from the grill and not hot air from the engine. I love mine!!

When driving normally, there is no difference. When you floor it, it is similar to an aftermarket CAI/RAI. It makes a mean, yet subtle "growling" sound. LOL....I enjoy it! If there is anything else, just ask! Nicoclub is a great resource center for us M owners. Also, the search option is really good for coming up with ideas for mods. Post some pics of your car. I see from your avatar you are one of the more modded M's that I've seen on here.

I enjoy my M, each and everyday I've had her. She's quick to put a smile on my face when I drive her.

You know what, I do know someone who has an injen cai for sale....lol. I purchased an air bag system from a good guy out in Houston, TX that will be shipping it out to me in El Paso, TX. He has an injen intake, Megan exhaust (he would need your OEM exhaust) and junction produce curtains for sale. Shoot me a pm on here and I'll give you his number.

I posted in your other thread some steps on a different way to post photos here. Just remember when you use the code , ONLY a full web address ending in ".jpg" (most common picture format) is the only thing that will replace the $$$ in the image code I posted. Good luck man and let us know if you need some more help! :bigthumb:

Hello everyone, I just joined the club and hopefully I can get some answers. First of all I have a 2010 M35, my air intake system was stolen, I figured that I would be a good excuse to get some aftermarket upgrade for it but it seems like I hit a wall trying to find something for my car. Then I decided to just go with the OEM and they are very expensive. Anyone has any suggestions? all help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Folks, the R2C is only for the V8. All the posters in here who asked about it are V6, it won't work for you.

Actually you can use the R2C Cold Air Intake for the V6. if you wanna classify this as a Cold Air Intake. This is basically the same as a Z-tube and JWT Pop Charger. Obviously you will also have to get the MAF housing from any G35 or 350z with the VQ35DE motor in it.

When you get the intake you should wrap it to help keep out the heat soak.

Ahhh good catch.

I was basing it off the thread that was linked earlier to the M45 R2C intake being sold by RED_DET.
