So the Exhaust in my '90 Q45 is leaking from several areas due to rust and i'm looking for some replacement ideas that are preferably bolt on and not full custom setups. So far my searches haven't turned up anything promising. Anyone out there have any ideas, or am I stuck having to have a new system made?

There are no bolt on exhaust kits for the G50, at least here in the states. This is much like everything else with this car, most if not all performance modifications have to be custom or from the Z32. Where has it rusted out? Are you looking to stay at around the same noise level or are you fine with something louder?

A little louder is fine, this isn't a daily driver. It's mostly a tinkering car that get's thrown around a track sideways occasionally. But I needs it to be street legal. As far as where it's rusted it'd be easier to say where isn't it rusted.

Look for some in the junkyards. You should be able to find one with a good exhaust system. Drop the whole thing and bolt it back up on yours.

Depending on where you live, finding a good exhaust system is probably going to be tough.

If the pipes near the cats are good, then you can have an exhaust shop patch your exhaust system back up. I'd think for $200-$400 you should be able to get your exhaust system pretty much leak free.

I live in New England, so yeah, finding a complete exhaust that isn't rusted up is going to be a challenge.

Cut out the suitcase muffler while you're at it and put in either turn downs or tips. ;)

Any exhaust from the junkyard will likely be hard restore. Most junkyards use acetylene torches to cut the metal. And of course the main cats and pre cats on the manifolds will be missing.
