So I finally cracked the deal with the diamond lok lip from home depot no one can ever find.

Just for future refrence Diamond-Lok is found by the bricks in homedepot, its brick edging, you will not find it by the homedepot lip ver.1 stuff in the garden edging section . I finally figured this out after google searching sent me to miata.net or something liekt hat they clarified it.

Basically I needed something to cover up the bottom of the IC so I went this route. You will need to buy 2 6 feet sections, and connect the 2 somehow, I am going to met the 2 together with plastic welder or something and sand it smooth.

awesome man. i'm sure that's cheaper than buying a oem lip since they run like 100 at least.

any full shots of the lip? looks damn close to something OEM for being a v2 HD lip. much better than most v1's that look like you put a garbage bag under ur bumper.

you gotta check out this lip on a miata, you would swear it was an oem lip if you saw it, it looks perfect! They use it for the rear as well, very clean.

It would have made it alot easier if they made it in 8' sections. All I did was join about a 6" strip to each end backed it with about a 3" peice of flat aluminum stock and joined it with some rivets.

Nice I'm def doing this tomorrow.

I doubt you could do this, its a pretty hard plastic and not that easy to bend. I dont know if it will go through the little dip you guys have on your front bumper. I could be wrong though.
