DEADBEAT Advertisers / Sponsors

Postby AZhitman » Wed Aug 02, 2006 4:41 pm

I'm continually impressed with the dedication and loyalty of 99% of our advertisers. They do a great job taking care of you guys, and I hope you all consider them over an outside source any time you purchase something for your Nissan / Infiniti.

Every bushel has its bad apples, and I'm sad to say we've had a few deadbeat advertisers, who have taken advantage of NICO's willingness to work with small businesses - We forego late charges, penalties and interest on outstanding invoices (because it's simply the right thing to do, in business, and in life).

Image

Feel free to notify others, as a company that can't keep its commitments to its supporting forums is unlikely to take good care of its customers.

So, without further ado, here's the list of companies that have failed to keep up their end of the bargain with your NICO forums... All have more than a month's worth of outstanding invoices, and we've exhausted all available methods of contacting those responsible.

1) West Coast Turbo (http://www.westcoast-turbo.com) - (909) 489-2122 - Owes $350. Closed website, still allegedly doing business.

2) Boost Designs (defunct) - Perry J. Oakley, Panama City, FL - Owes well over $1K.

one simple phrase : attorney general about five or so calls and complaints, will not only get you your money back, but also put those companies in hot water...
acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing or situation -- some fact of my life -- unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment.

Hitman,

I am searching for the old threads or any mention of those exxpresfuelpumps.com deceiving thieves who are still keeping some US$1500 from us but cannot find anything in NICO. How come?

I was not aware of that. Let me get with them and see what their story is.

They squared up with us, but until they make things right wth you guys, they won't be "in good standing" in my eyes.

I believe that they will never make things right for us... We are in the other side of the fookin' world. They just don't give a #@$@%. Sorry for talking like that Greg but we are still frustrated... If you can help us in any way I(nismoclub.gr CEO) will be really happy and grateful...

Thanks

LOCKO
LOCKO, they usually go hand-in-hand. Treat them as owing money to NICO AND HAVING STOLEN MONEY from their customers.

EXPRESSFUELPUMPS.COM (and every almost every other site with a name ending in FUELPUMPS.COM - they all belong to the same lying cheats - they are registered to the same person/company ) has stolen over USD$ 1700 from us in a Group Buy and they returned only $500-something before they decided they can get away with stealing and seized returning calls, emails, etc.

You can type up a report at http://www.ripoffreport.com

Victim of a consumer Rip-off? Want justice?

Ripoff Report® is a worldwide consumer reporting Web site and publication, by consumers, for consumers, to file and document complaints about companies or individuals. While we encourage and even require authors to only file truthful reports, Ripoff Report does not guarantee that all reports are authenic or accurate. Be an educated consumer. Read what you can and make your decision based upon an examination of all available information.

Unlike the Better Business Bureau, Ripoff Report does not hide reports of "satisfied" complaints. ALL complaints remain public and unedited in order to create a working history on the company or individual in question.

Ripoff Reports cover every category imaginable! You can Browse the latest Reports, Search the Reports, or Submit your report now for FREE, by clicking on File Report. View over 1,000 different topics & categories you can file under.
By filing a Ripoff Report it's almost like creating your own web site
..And, it's FREE.

Your Ripoff Report will be discovered by millions of consumers! Search engines will automatically discover most reports, meaning that within just a few days or weeks, your report may be found on search engines when consumers search, using key words relating to your Ripoff Report.

A man after my own heart. :dblthumb: Some of that info I had, some I didn't.

What these people fail to realize is that this thread gets excellent hits from the search engines, and it's been up long enough to really have some weight.

Lenders, prospective employers, schools, even dating prospects ALL use the web to check out your background. The past-due invoices are nothing compared to the potential for damage to one's professional reputation and integrity.

20) RB-Performance.net (otis@rb-performance.net) - Owes $500.

i have something to add to this guy, when i first got into sr20"s a few years ago, i needed a bottom end for a sr20det badly so i bought a "fully rebuilt" sr20det bottom end(ended up paying 1000 after shipping,it was a while ago when sr swaps weren't that cheap) so i bought one from otis, and this dumb a#% sent a used blown bottom end to me, burnt cylinder walls that were very scared, bearings that were so thin i thought they were gonna fall apart from wear, and the worst part USED oil soaking the box!! luckily for me i used paypal and took plenty of pictures, i won got all my money back but i had to ship it back, funny thing was i sent it back to his old address half way across California ... i still thinks he owes me the 216 for shipping plus some for his stupidity and my troubles

AZhitman:

Now that I am getting back on-line with NICO (computer issues) I would be more than happy to work with on tracking down and making collections call if needed. Do you happen to have a spreadsheet with contact information with previous locations? I only ask because when searching on line for some of these companies, a lot of the names are similar for different locations.

I would be more than happy to assist the NICO family were I can.
