Pretty much... access the "knobs" through tire well.. turn it with the right size (small) ranch.

i'd rather turn it with a thousand island myself... anyways, any reason why you want to wait until after winter to make the adjustment? not like you have to take anything apart and then you'll have a nice straight cutoff

Its been raining all week .. Temperature around the 30s.. My first concern is the not cutoffs, its how the headlight hold up (if theres any fog up issue or led halo problem). So before I make the other adjustment I want to make sure the quality hold up over the winter first. I just dont want to spend all the time making adjustment and everything to make it perfect and then find out the led burned out or something goes wrong on me. At this current cutoff its not too bad. Driver side slightly lower than the passenger. People in front of me wont get blinded as much.. Same for the upcoming traffic.. The 55w hid is really blinding.. I feel like an a** already with this bright lights . :gapteeth:

The alignment of the cut offs is much better!...Great job :dblthumb:

On a side note, what you guys fail to realize is that those ebay lights have halogen projectors thus the curveature of the bowl is tailored to a regular incandecent light. If you guys put aftermarket HIDs in them, which I'm pretty sure 99% of you do, the light pattern is now scattered and produces more heat in there (although it is lower temp) and it burns the refelctive coating off of the bowls. Just something to keep in mind...

that is why these are on my trial period lol .. let them run for couple months and I will post if anything goes wrong . I massage eBay guy he tells me theres a 2 year warranty for these headlights. I doubt I will own this coupe for 2 more years though.

Yeah thats what Im getting too. Like I said in the other thread I was able to get most of it out by opening the connection for the parking light, turning on both low and high beams, and essentially cooking it out the back. Need to do it again when the temp gets high and stays high.

Yea best time to deal with the fogging is summer time , pick a hot a** day after a long a** drive and get a big a** hair dryer .... Vap the s*** out of the inside lol. Good luck bro

I was also thinking about throwing a couple of those silica gel packets you find in new shoes or electronics in there. Well, maybe not throw, more like nicely place with a little tape to hold it in place and a string attached to pull it out if it comes loose. Hopefully that will suck some of it up.

Good thing the woman had a new pair of boots delivered today!

Wrap a string (better tie it well) to the pack and slip in the housing during the day when your not using the car or not using the hi/lo beam. I think for best result, do the hair dryer, engine heat first before throw in the pack. Can't wait for the summer to come, gonna fix the foggin issue and repaint the bumper.

If you take the headlights off (a pain, I know), you can aim a hair dryer/ heat gun into the housing once you pull out the bulbs.

Once all the moisture escapes silicone the crap out of every seam. EVERY set of aftermarket lights need extra silicone. Me and my buddy just did this for his e36 M3. Even "good" brands need extra silicone.

Although I'm sure Dangeris has that covered :dblthumb:

Also make sure the rubber grommet for the bulb fits snugly.

I really do think its due to the current temp. I installed these on Sunday and they were fogging the very same day, they hadnt even seen any weather yet. Figure they were inside my house at 70 degress plus and then I install them in 40 degree weather. Hot on the inside + cold on the outside = fog on the inside. Its like they came from the factory with the moisture already trapped inside. It only shows when the lights have been on for at least 10 minutes or so. I rarely drive at night so its not a huge issue to me at this point.

The silicone is actually pretty decent, but I did see a few spots that could use a touch up. I do plan on using a hair dryer as well, Im just going to remove the bumper when I wire up my fog halos and do it all at once...which may not be for a while. Grommets behind the projectors are legit, they fit very snug, almost difficult to remove.

Ill be sure to post up some pics once I get it all worked out.

Thanks for the input all.
