2010 Altima coupe......any info??

Just wondering, altima coupe should be getting a mid-cycle refreshing, any info on what is going to be added or changed?? Hope they put projector headlight in 2010 or 2011 model year

I doubt there are going to be any major changes. There was only a few minor changes to the 09. The next gen should be out in 2011 or 2012.

and maybe just in time too. Hopefully they'll break off form the name altimas and introduce it as a new vehicle lineup like the Nissan the AC35 or maybe even the AC37

Maybe, but I've also heard that the Altima Coupe was produced as a test mule/filler car or to gauge interest to see if the market was right for the re-introduction for the Silvia-S16. Last I heard the S16 plans have been put on hold due to bad profits in the Auto Industry as a whole, so the A/C may make it to a second generation will see, but I think it will keep the Altima name. As for changes, as most here, I hope they do something with the dang grille.

You guys are going to be waiting most of this year to find out honestly. It's way too early to tell. Despite the fact that some car companies have released 2010 models, it's because they are brand new versions, not tweaks to the current ones.

The 2010 Altima Coupe will more than likely have some additional tweaks, I do hope like a lot of you guys, that they upgrade the headlights to Projectors and the Taillights to LEDs as well as change the grille and get rid of the ugly plastic chrome mustache and big honeycomb grille. I doubt the Grille will change because that is too much effort for them.

Regardless, we will see the 2010 Model sometime at end of summer, early fall (August-November).

The 2009 models were on sale in early September 2008 as I remember. Does anyone remember when they did a press release on them, like how long prior to them hitting the dealerships?

i heard the new 2010 nissan Silvia is going to take the place of the Altima? I don't know if they have a real photo posted but it sure does like a mix within the Altima itself somewhere in it

sorry if that isn't it =P i looked around and i found it like a month ago

Yeah, I saw that quite awhile back. That looks good minus the nose to me. But that looks like it's staying overseas I bet.

There is no way that is not a photoshop. If you look the tails/real end is exactly the same as the sedan, and the wheels are just stretched out versions of the 16 inch convenience package wheels. Nissan would not be3 coming out with an entirely new model that is strongly based on a different model. Nissan would not release/leak photos of a new car before an announcement anyway.
I haven't read anything about it in C&D, and they are normally pretty good on the details of new/futurecars.

I have read that the S-16 is like the one posted above but i heard we wont see it in the US. Personally i dont like the look of that car. its like a mercedes/nissan. it has been announced in Japan. but they prob arent putting it in the magazines out here cause its not coming here. and personally if they were to bring it back they need to go back to the S-13 bodystyle.

I doubt we'll see the 3.7L too much for FWD, wouldn;t expect much change probably a couple of new colors or actually maybe a coupkle less (canada)

potentially a little diiferent interior styling / material options

They better do something fast cuz the Genesis coupe is going to spank the sales of the Altima, ontop of that.. Toyotas new RWD car in conjunction with Subaru will also steal that market.

The altima is pricey compared to those two.. But the worst thing is if they do end up replacing the A/C with the S16, our cars will be worth 10$.

Our car isn't in the same category as the genesis coupe or the toyotabaru coupe.

I'm not worried. solara sales haven't dropped because of the 350z right? it's because both are in separate categories and there is only a small amount of people cross shopping them.

same thing is going to happen bettween the accordcoupe/altimacoupe/eclipse and the genesiscoupe/toyotabaru

wtf is that? its NOT an altima coupe.... the altima coupe has the chrome mustache and this one has chrome lining all the way around (like the sedan grill). but the front bumper looks different... the front bumper looks sort of like my mom's 07 Maxima... but why would they have a NEW commercial with a 370z and a old body style maxima?? i think that may be the new altima sedan.... or i could just be tripping lol

looks like they gave the COUPE the 08 maxima face.. lol and the one line mustache, cause they heard everyone hating on the 1st gen \ / style grille. I say coupe, cause that is what it looks like to me, and them doors seem awful large to be a sedan.. if thats the coupe, im a little upset.. but glad its red! lol

Edit, it could be the sedan.. on 2nd thought. lol i glared at the pic. But it kinda. just a lil looks liek the last gen accord coupe...07?, 08? before the new design.

thats what i was thinking it does look like a maxima however the grill area looks like it has the staches are pointing up like the coupe but its attached to the grill i dunno though im confused and lost someone pointed this out to me earlier i want to see everyone else's take on these pics

ok, try not to flame too hard on this comment lol the 07+ sentras look like a mini version of the 07-08 Maximas... this car looks a lot like the 07-08 Maximas AND isnt the sentra getting a face lift too? sooo could it actually be the new SE-R sentra? idk, i'm just really curious to find out what it actually is.... it has the 08 350Z hood (the 350Z with the VQ35HR motor, that had a bulges in the hood).

I like it, the front end looks more sharp and aggressive.

My problem isn't exactly with the chrome itself but how it's cut in half as the sedan isn't.

The lines of the door seem a lot like the AC door. It makes sense that it's the new A/C styling. I actually think I like it.

ya it does look like it has projectors.... maybe, if we're really really lucky, the 2010 projector headlights will be the same size as ours and then we could get some factory 2010 projector lights in our cars! probably just wishful thinking though lol

It's hard to tell from the image; but it looks like the head lights are taking on a completely different shape, so to install these headlights may consist of converting the fenders, front bumper and possible hood as well. I hope I'm wrong though.

EDIT: it does look like the head light are keep the original shape, but it looks like they're layed out differently. I think I can see the amber's to the outside; can't tell if they're projectors or not though.

Those doors are short, there are another set of doors behind those for sure. That red car is a sedan. Maybe an altima sedan, but still a sedan.

I think the left door in the photo is not opened all the way. If you look at the right door, you can see the lines of the door, and how it curves in as it goes down. If you look at the sedan door lines, they are more vertical for the front doors. I would deduce that it's really the coupe in the picture.
