2010 Altima coupe......any info??

hussain, that concept car has been a concept for a while now, and i dont think it will make it to production.

as for the red car in the picture, i believe it is definitely an altima coupe.

we will all know for sure when nissan announces the 2010MY altima.

not to brag or anything, but im probably gonna see the new ones in person and drive them before anyone of yall. i work at a storage facility for 3 big nissan dealerships on long island, so my job basically is to drive around, and park cars all day.

Here is something too...

This has no lights in the rear view mirrors. Why are they filming a comercial with a 2.5S? They always take photos of the 3.5SE (or SR) say it starts at 20,500$ and add "As shown 26,000$"

AND

To fight my own point...it is a coupe because there are no side trims on the doors. The sedan has a piece about 1/3 of the way up and the coupe doesn't. They could have removed it for 2010, but...which ever.

I can see what appears to be turn signals on the mirrors

There's no way it's an Altima in any sort. The hood is way to short, the body lines are wrong, there's no turn signals on the mirrors, and there'd be no reason to do a complete redesign on a vehicle that's only been out for 3 years. Everything about that picture is too small.

Well, looks like we're gonna have a lot of Pizzed off Alti drivers, I have to agree, I like the 08-09 better, but thats the 3rd year cosmetic "refresh" Hood, lights and front bumper...I actually am not happy that I am right...that is no where near a redesign, but it ain't good.

How do you know that for certain? Nissan hasn't confirmed it directly, the photographer never said he saw the back side of the car where the badge for the model is. He took a photo of a new "Nissan Coupe" which he confirmed by seeing only 2 doors and we can see clearly on the front grille is a Nissan Burger from the photo.

its stupid but Nissan is looking at it as an altima, not an altima coupe. the altima came out in 07. 07 to 08 to 09 is 3 years. the older altimas 02 to 03 to 04 got a redesign in 05 so 3 years later. it makes sense, its just that the COUPE has only been out for 2 years so it threw me off.

no, he SAW the back and it did change a little according to him. did you even read what I quoted from him?

I'm starting to think we need another perspective here, another angle to look at to give a more valid opinion. This one photo, even in high quality is still not the best. The more I look at it, the more I see light playing tricks on us and making it seem "unfamiliar".

Hey everyone.. look what I managed to get from a Nissan dealer this weekend. A feature list for the 2010 Altima Coupe!!! This is for Canada but don't think the US should differ too much. Everything listed in bold is supposed to be a change compared to the '09 model.

I guess the big upgrades for the 2.5 S are Traction Control, 17" alloy wheels, and in premium package there is now 4.3" colour display, ipod, and USB all added to the bose sound system. The guy told me prices might increase by 2%. Do you think these new features plus the redesign are compelling enough that I should wait and get the 2010 model? or shall I take advantage of the clearance deals on the '09 model? I don't wanna wait too long and lose opportunity on the '09s. what would you guys do? I was thinking of leasing.

Any help would be much appreciated.

wow they added a color display screen and ipod system for the 3.5! now just to see how it looks, and im sold!

the 3.5 is now called the 3.5SR! hoping for a little more aggressive styling for this model!

im glad the Tech package is just a satnav upgrade, don't need that!

the new tech packages has USB input and bluetooth streaming audio! damn thats really nice! It's cool but what I really want to see the are headlights. the BOLD "hid headlights" must mean they are getting projector headlights!

I seriously hope its the same size headlights!!

Also I noticed that now all models have AUTO on and off headlights, not just HID ones. and that VDC IS STANDARD across the range. great stuff. overall it's definitly some great stuff! also there are no sunroof less models too!

nice stuff~heavymetalI went to the dealer this weekend too and they told me they have no info on the MY2010 altima coupe Since you live in Toronto, I would suggest you to wait for the MY2010 cus 2.5S will have TCS and VDC fitted on them. But this is assuming that you want to get a 2.5S

I have been debating about whether to get Accord coupe or Altima coupe cus Accord coupe has VDC and TCS. Now this is not an issue anymore~sweet!!

The more I look at it, the more Sentra sized it looks. Maybe they're making the Sentra resemble the Coupe more closely?

assuming they do these like the other models, this generation will only last ~ 4 years... it would have been nice to offer an SE-R versiion with increased horsepower for the 3.5... but no such luck I guess (losers)
