Will I be okay getting 10mm spacers without extended studs?

I think it depends on your wheel specs. BUT, when I got my 10mm spacers (ICHIBA), they came with extended studs. So I'd say YES, just to be safe.

These the ones you have? Some local guy is selling them for pretty cheap.

Like I said before 10mm will work.

Yes, but make sure that they are for the Altima (5x114.3, 66.1mm center bore)

If the extended studs were not necessary for the 10mm spacers, why would they put them in the box with the spacers?!

PLEASE put the extended lugs!

Considering people run them without, I think they're fine.

If you saw someone doing something you knew was unsafe, would you say it looks ok and do it too? That's 10mm less thread for the lugnut to hold onto to keep the wheel from coming off, think about it and tell me that's fine, afterall, the only risk is wrecking your car for the 100 bucks (for 20) they probably cost :nono:...

I had Ichiba spacers with extended STUDS and the extended studs broke on me so this happened...

since then I've been running spacers with stock studs and it works fine.

Edit: anything more than 10MM should be a hubcentric spacer (comes with lugs built into it)

I think most of us did in this thread.. Sano, I think you meant studs right?

This is about extended wheel studs, which I seriously doubt will all break on you.. Wheel studs are required to meet standards! Lugnuts... no... Extended studs can be used on spacers I think to around 14mm, but I'd recommend spacers with their own studs set in if around 15mm and up.

So do you have to replace your studs from behind the wheel hub? I wasn't aware that you could do that haha.

These look okay to everyone? http://www.ebay.com/itm/HUBCENTRIC-10MM ... 84&vxp=mtr
These would work, but I'm not sure about the quality..

The whole argument was about replacing your studs lol, so ya you can do that!

The way I see it, anything more than 9mm (spacers) will require extended studs.

That's the only thing i'm worried about. Did a simple Google search on them and I found a few reviews. None of them had anything bad to say:

That's a risk you have to take. I read the reviews, no one seems to have any issue with them!

Good luck!

I have always felt like I could make my own spacers pretty easily and a heck of a lot cheaper than they sell them for.

If it doesn't fit the bolt pattern or the exact bore size your whole car is gonna be shaking! what will you use to make it anyways?

Ha, I realize that. I don't have intent to actually do it but I do own a huge power mill and a gigantic water cooled lathe with a million tools and access to a ton of tools. I would do it only from a hobby stand point as I realize it wouldn't really be cheaper. I would have to buy some expensive aluminum stock and probably go at it a few times but I would be so proud of them. The hardest thing would not be making them symmetrically and balanced but actually doing the math and figuring out how to do it.
