yea, the USDM WRX STi has a different engine than the rest of the world, a 2.5l as opposed to the 2.0l everybody else got. Kinda like the Supra we got the good motor for once (at least on paper it looks better).

All the article says is that the engine is BEHIND THE FRONT AXLE LIKE THE NSX OR MR2. It did not say the car is JUST LIKE AN NSX OR MR2. Learn to read. The article later states that the engine is mounted at the front of the car UNLIKE THE NSX AND MR2. Did you not get to the next sentence? Was it too hard to read for you?

Chill people (yellwmonky especially) you're both right. It's technically listed by magazines and stuff as FR, but the company calls it FMR. Look, it doesn't matter, it's FR with the engine set back a bit. The NSX and MR2 were truly MR, the engine was almost right below the driver's seat, a little behind, but because it was a little behind, it was also sometimes referred to as RMR or RR.

actually moving violation seems to be the only one that knows what he is talking about. He's not confused at all, unlike you.

Look its very simple. the 240sx is FR because the engine is in front of the front axel. the 350z is FMR because the engine is still in the front, however its behind the axel. The MR2 and NSX are MR because the engine is in between the two axels. I never heard of the NSX being called RMR. THe engine is NOT past the rear axel. YEs i have seen an NSX. My friend has one. And another thing, the porsche 911 IS straight up RR. SO is the old school bug as well as many more cars. I don't see what the confusion is all about.
