Is there an aftermarket slave cylinder available for the 300zx, or am I stuck with the OEM slave cylinder? I am building a 95 300zx tt and it has a triple plate metalic clutch kit. (not sure of the brand, I wasn't the installer) I was thinking there has to be an aftermarket slave cylinder that is more compatible with such a hard sprung clutch. I haven't found one, anywhere, in all the searches I have been doing. All I can seem to find is a nismo slave cylinder for a 240sx. Does anyone have any advice?

It appears that the nismo slave for the 240sx is parallel to the slave found on the z32 TT. Is this a non converted TT z? With the vacuum assisted clutch? Is the pedal too stiff or are you just wondering what's out there?

yes its a true tt with vac assist clutch. I'd deffinatly like some options other than oem. The pedal feels kind of spongey as you let it out, and yes it is pretty stiff which i expect out of a racing clutch.

you shouldn't have to change the slave, if you have a high pressure plate you have increased pedal effort, thats the trade off, I have the southbend clutches stage 4 and it has noticibley more effort but very tollerable, if you don't like a stiff pedal stick to a stage 3 or lower

if it feels spongy then you have a problem, I once got a bad pp form competition clutches that the stock pedal just could not fully disengage it took soo much pressure, sometimes a bad product gets to the consumer, they got me the correct pp after I figured otu what was going on, also if there si any air in the system or the pedal isn't adjusted propery you can encounter issues

are you sure it's a tripple plate clutch? or is it maybe a three puck (very different animals)
