The one I posted is the non-braking, when braking, it would be brighter. To build and sell this would easily be $1400+. You'd have to take a mold of the existing lights, cast it, build the "light" bar with led's/EL wire/lasers + all the wiring (this would be easier now that 3d printers are commonplace), then suspend it in the negative mold, pour epoxy with black mix in it to get the semi-transparent dark color and seal the unit together. Then you'd have to spray the back of the poured unit (the part that faces the car) with matte black paint so the object is opaque in the back. Then you have several hours of sanding and polishing and fitting and testing before it's ready to be on the car.

They would be epic as hell though. One day I'll make it happen :) True sign of a good design is you come back to it 3 years later and it still looks good.

Exactly. Personally, the tail lights are the last thing i would touch, other than to swap to JDM ones. Over all, I think they're pretty dang sexy as is. Besides, I have many ideas of where better spend that $1400 haha
