I have a 1993 300zx. I put it in the garage over the winter to some work on it. A few weeks ago I realized the passenger window stopped working. Bought a new motor and new window switches and still nothing. Any help with my problem is apreciated.

Mine was a bad ground wire, which I found after buying the switch. Does it not go up or down?

Will it work from drivers side?

Did you double check the "safety lock" button on the driver side is not activated?

Or you may have a window amplifier problem. Check if there is power to the motor, if not look at this link:

I got it too move when I bypassed the passenger side switch. I made sure it wasn't the child locks a thousand times. I bought a new passenger side switch and that did not do anything. It works from neither side.

Check the ground wires at the switch plug in. There are actually 3 grounds, use an ohm meter to see if they are actually grounded

I pulled out the driver side switch and took the child lock button out and there was a spring that wasnt on anything. Think that it may be the problem.
