http://www.katu.com/news/local/8855457.html look at the pic! that Z had some pretty bad damage. The truck was hardly indeed of anything more than a bumber headlight grille and fender maybe.

Very sad that the Z driver was paralyzed. Another good reason to mount your speaker enclosure is the safety of it not becoming a loaded projectile in such and incidient, but the 3 db gain from physical attaching it to the vehicle is pretty good too IMO.

i bet most of the guys out there don't secure there subs inplace. The only reason I had mine bolted is because of theft prevension.

My subs are just form fitting into a hole. Now fasteners required
