I like the shape of the R33 a little bit more than the R34, so I voted for it, but I would be happy with either one.

Thanks! I just found this site today. I've heard it mentioned in other Nissan forums, but didn't know what they were talking about. Now, that I know, I'll probably visiting this forum a couple times a day.

So far the only the only thing I've done to the Z is put smoked sidemarkers on it. Doesn't really count as a mod, but it did take a little while to do (would've been easier if I had an L-shaped screwdriver). For peformance, my first mods will probably be a ground kit, intake, and ECU, in that order. Eventually, I want to go twin turbo, but I don't have the money right now, so that'll be in quite a few years, at least until my warranty is no longer good. Here's a pic of the Z, I'll post some much better pics in the members rides section tonight.

Kenamari, too bad they're either too hard to find or cost too much to own. Always kind of liked the Japans also.

black is nice, but i must say, personnel, i like the R33 due to body lines, and it has almost exact same specs as everything else, but if i was offered ANY skyline id accept it, whether or nto its a R30 or R34 or the new 35.

thats a very sexy car jumpman, black is amazing, but a friend of mine has one, and plays hell to get the paint looking good, . It looks great when its perfect, but lil blemishes show soo much. Why did u pick black? Also, is there a particular reason u want twin turbos as opposed to one larger one?

I would want to get twin turbos too, if had a 350z, jsut to be unique and to say i had a twin turbo, plus you cang et a bigger and a smaller, so you dotn get the lag you would with one big one, if you get a big and small, you can use the smaller one so you dont lag and then wheny uo get to higher boost the bigger helps handle it all.

i would rather the little bit of lag with a medium size turbo than having to dish out the money for twin turbo set up.

Depending on where you go, the size, brand and the model of car, it might not be all that expensize, **** if i had a xxxxDETT motor id get a small and big, plus i know how they work with that setup to eliminate lag, but thats just me

Nizmo, the main reason I picked black is because I always wanted a black or blue sports car, and I really liked the way the car looked in black. I love the other colors, but I didn't want the attention that the brighter colors get (I still get tons of attention, though). Black is a real PITA to keep clean though, and every rock chip shows up, but I still wouldn't change the color.

I guess it wouldn't really matter which turbo set up I went with, I was thinking about the Greddy TT kit when I said that. But I'd like to make 450-500 rwhp one day, and that kit doesn't even come close. I think Top Secret got 400+ rwhp out of the Z, but I can't remember if it was TT or single.

Nizmo400r, I see you're from Louisiana. Me too, I'm from Baton Rouge. I'm away at college now, without the Z:(. Trying to get a degree in mechanical engineering, so I can get a better understanding of things, and not have to pay someone else to custom turbo my car.

Yeah, that's where I read it. I think I bought that issue, but I don't have it with me right now, so I couldn't remember what their setup was.

Big and small? Good luck getting that to work. A good set for street/track is HKS GT2530's, people are running over 500whp with them. All you need unless you're a drag racer.

GT2530s?!? Give me some GT3037s ;) LOL. The 2530s are great for the street.

Big and small WTF? That doesn't work very well in real life. It would be beter to dual charge. Meaning a supercharger for low-end and a turbo for top-end power.
