First off, I would check your injector wiring, make sure the negative on your #1 injector isnt screwed up and keeping the injector open all the time.

I have 4 stock KADE injectors in perfect shape. How much do you want to give for them?

OK....I checked the compression. Cylinder number 1 was ok at about 175-the first time, and I reset it to check and make sure it was a fluke. It held steady at 175 the first time, but bled off steadily to about 155 the next go round. Then I tried cylinder number 2. real bad---120. Then the f'n battery dies from all the cranking and no charging. Oh well, thats enough for me anyway. 120 is bad enough for anybody id think. So, Im going to pull the motor and replace it with another with only 75000 miles. What I want to know now is...how the hell did that happen? The car ran absolutely perfect before the injectors changeout and ecu. I dont friggin get it. It shouldnt have happened. WHats worse...i dont know if its a h/g, bad rings(the smoke isnt bluw so i dont know), or if its a hole in the piston. this sucks.......by the way....i have 4 stock injectors that ill let go for like 50.00 bucks shipped.

um..okay....Im putting in a new(er) 95 motor with only 75000 miles on it. Problem is-I cant tell whether the 95(obdI) will cause any headaches with my 96 (obdII) car. I dont think so, but I dont want ANY surprises. Plus..I think ths may actually be a good thing, because the car will have a lower mileage motor for the tubro kit. Maybe the car was telling me that bad news was around the corner and just tried to warn me by taking a crap on the motor that was in there.....maybe im just a weirdo.

hey josh, everything should swap over fine. Just use the intake manifold off of your car because the 95 and 96 intake manifolds are different. Everything else should be the same. Keep the intake manifold in 1 piece. There are like 6 or so bolts keeping it on the side of the head and like 6 hoses. I would call u but my phone is dead.Good Luck
