ok...the adapter plate that u rigged up...most likely 99 % sure needs costum fabing for the holes to ur MAF...so go to home depo or lowes...pick up a drill bit (MEANT FOR METAL NOT WOOD) and line up the holes with ur MAF outline and drill out...that black thing looks like a gasket to me...whats it made of....remember that when 2 metal surfaces connect...there not water/ air tight...hence gaskets

Thanks bro, soon after posting that, I actually wised up and realized that is the problem heh. I can be pretty dumb sometimes
