ya!! new 240 owner!!!

well just bought my 240 a few days ago, and I'm really proud of it... it's a 1990 fastback, no power options other than steering, and no sunroof

but it's all good in da hood, body has 270,000kms on it (i know, it's A LOT) but engine has only 120,000 on it... new paint as of last year (charcoal, mmmm), new master cyl, and new rear shocks... doesn't mean it's all perfect though, got some technical questions to ask you guys in the tech forum!

plans for it right now are to replace everything that needs fixing... once that's done, i'm doin all audio cause i like my systems (big plans)... then i'm doing suspension/wheels and minor engine mods (already took out the intake silencer thing!! sounds dope now :P)

eventually (don't flame) i wanna swap in either an sr20det or even an rb26dett, cause i have hookups for both... that won't be for at least a year, cause i wanna get to know my car first with the stock engine...

but ya, lookin forward to chattin with you guys, cause 240 owners are da ****! hehe

Welcome aboard and good luck with your plans. I'll be interested in seeing what you do to the vehicle with regards to the audio system. I bought my car without a radio, but one of these days I'll get one and hopefully figure out some way to ditch the back seat in favor of a well built box.

Welcome! RB26 huh? That would kick, but someone said it makes the car FWD. (there seems to be some confusion, most people always mean front-wheel-drive with that, others mean four-wheel-drive, which is it? Why can't everyone just put AWD for all-wheel-drive, urg...)

hehe, i'm stickin with my audio first :P have over $3000 worth of audio stuff just sitting in my room waiting to be installed... not to mention my 3 way CDT components, and all monster cable wiring that i'm getting

gonna be building custom fibreglass enclosures for the 6.5", 4" and tweeters that are going in my doors, so i'll be posting my progress in a month or so i hope...
