Putting Rambo in a car show tomorrow. Got him out last Friday for new plugs (others were 10 years old) and oil change. That was the first time he had been out of the garage since September of last year. :tisk:

I realized a few things. V8's are fun, T-Tops were the best invention ever and rubber hood bumpers will dry rot in 17 years. :yesnod

I'll try to take some pics.

What do you think of the new Gen Camaro? I'm looking at the ZL1 coming out next year...

I think you can tell that I really don't care much for it or I would have bought one of those instead of my Z. :) I think a lot of people feel the same way I do. I believe that is why the 4th gens like mine are holding their value so well. I have 2 guys that have offered me $9k for it. Not bad considering that I only paid $20k for it almost 16 years ago. Granted, I have put some expensive mods on it, but never had to make a major repair.

Sometimes I will get a black one behind me and I'll look in my mirror and think it is wicked as Hell looking, but to me from most angles it is just too big and bulky looking and the roofline is too chopped.

Fast...hell yeah. I would love to ride in one.

I actually keep a diary on the car. I know all of his miles. I know that the guy in my car club that had it last Saturday doing the plugs and oil had some fun in it. That's ok...I trust him, car is well insured, and a little bit of full throttle was better for him then sitting in the garage. :yesnod

Oh, I bet you were as bad on the kids as my dad was. He always knew how many miles were on the car when he left it in the driveway, how many Camels were in the pack on the nightstand, and he could eyeball his bottle of Jack and tell if a shot was missing since the last time he took it out of the cabinet....

Kids???? Rambo???? :ohno: Neither one of them drove it. Never really drove any of our cars. We learned that is was cheaper to get them their own car than to have them tear ours up. :yesnod

What can I say? My baby boy has STILL GOT IT!! Beat an early and late 2nd gen. Both of them were all customized with custom paint jobs. I think they really consider the fact that my paint and interior are still original. The guy in the red '74 next to me was pissed. Get over it!!

This car was really cool. I of only 435 made.

Check out this boat. OMG it was so cool. Had to be 50 feet long.

Don't mess with this Miata. It is sporting an LS-2. He said it is his Hybrid. I told him to get a Hybrid badge from a Prius and put it on it.

Great show. Met a lot of cool folks.

Thanks Mudge. There is no way anybody could love a car any more than I do that one. He has been good to me for sure.

Didn't take any yesterday. Here is an engine bay shot. I have since ditched that ugly Optima battery and went back with an ACDelco battery. I have a Powerdyne 4.5 psi. Not a huge boost, but I didn't want to have to go to the expense of changing out my heads. Love the little whistle it makes. :naughty:

CONGRATS!!! :dblthumb:

The miata reminds me of a V8 corvair that zoomed up on me (in my 97 svt cobra) one spring when leaving Charlotte Motor Speedway's Auto Fair.
I had seen it at the show and knew not to mess with it!!! :nono:

Rambo is very nice and looks like a ton of fun. Makes me miss my old American muscle car days. Maybe one day when I have a house with a 4 car garage I'll get another.

Thanks Tim. He has been my baby for almost 16 years. Just nothing like a V8 with Borla exhaust. Chirping 2nd going under an overpass sounds great!

And that's a sweet looking 330CI, even though I'm not a BMW fan. I bet that's a blast with the top down and the SC screaming.

i think my G37 is more of a male ( i know most people make cars female), but my g35 was definatly a female, my jeep is definatley a male... i go more off the character of the car...

Mine's definitely a female. Jezebel, I call her.
