I forgot what brand i got, but it was cheap from ebay and it didnt last for a month. took it out of the car and alll Gone! well it was my dd ka-t using stock clutch on ebay. never buy cheap brand from ebay, or you will end up paying more.

Edit: it was exedy stock clutch, I was broke at the time, still am.LOL

i have the xtd stage 2 clutch and its softer then the stock clutch and doesn't bite as hard. Id recommend getting the more expensive brands instead.

i have a f1 racing clutch in my car ka with nismo cams and full bolt ons have had it in for 2 years now and will still bark 4th and i have full coil overs and a have had lsd till last week and went to a welded diff i also have the f1 racing chromalloy fly wheel and a 1 peice drive shaft and solid motor and tranny mounts

ps if u have a soft pedal it is because of the design of the car not the clutch even spec clutches have a soft pedal when you use the stock soft line and clutch damper block and 91+slave use ss line remove damper and buy 89 slave pedal is stiff as s***

also all u peaple talking about name brand if you order a f1 racing clutch or fly wheel and look close all of there products are bought from exedy and still have the exedy stamp on them for half the price i have had the f1 stage 3 in 4 cars now and havent had anny problems just sold the cars

actually i am planning on running the stg 4 variant as i am planning for more boost in the near future.

Sorry to dig up an old thread and this may relate to a car that isn't a Nissan, but I figured you would appreciate the story anyway.
So the Mazda MX-5 is known to be a particularly powerful car in the world.
Despite that, we have discovered a clutch manufacturer out there than can sell a product marketed as "Stage 1 Racing clutch" incapable of handling MX-5 power levels.
The car in question is a standard 2001 Mazda MX-5.

The clutch failed at just 160kms/100miles. All the friction material disintegrated, peeling away from the clutch plate and leaving little more than a powder inside the gearbox.
We contacted the supplier but they have refused to respond, and sadly the clutch is from the USA (we're in Australia) so I can't go down the street and say hi.
So at the moment we are out of pocket for a failed clutch, for a new clutch, for machining the flywheel, and the effort to replace the clutch.

This was the clutch we bought:

And this is it, 100kms later:

Heed my warning, avoid.
