xm check antenna

Hey so i just joined. i signed up for the sirius xm trial subscription and i cant get it on my 2008 nissan rogue. when i go to sat radio, i get "check antenna" message. i cant even hear the ad thats played before u sign up. i can cycle through the genres but it just flashes back to "check antenna" what should i do?

It can be one of three things iirc. Either the antennae isn't connected properly, the line is damaged or the radio isn't receiving the signal correctly. Unfortunately you have to manually check the connection and antennae.
