lol you should.

just whatever you do, if you cant get the stock box to work with it dont decide that it would be smart to remove the coil inside of it lol, now my whole system is all ziptied to itself and **** lol. its still kinda kinked

becareful with that... one of my friends with a CA here in town removed his coil and his intake pipe was collapsing under the vaccum caused by the turbo sucking in air we couldn't figure out what it was for the longest time! haha

but neither of us are using the stock airbox... I have a stock rubber elbow attached to a cone filter, and he'll be using the same thing

Ditto, thats how mine's hooked up.

I need to get a custome one made tho, so I can hook up my sheepdog BOV to recirc.. just need to get one made such that I can have a short little pipe connect the BOV to the intake pipe, the way its mounted up (if I installed it, it isn't on right now as I don't want to have open BOV rich problems) thats how it would work..

I'm working on something as we speak, but I don't know if I can get the cost down to a reasonable price. What would you guys be willing to pay for something like that? It would be metal instead of rubber.

Well it cost me $45 for just the flange to attach to the turbo, but they had to CNC the flange from sheet steel. I'm sure they could do it for less if I was buying a bunch instead of one. when I get it on the car and make sure it works, I'm going to take the car down and have them fab up a pipe and see what they want for a run of them. I'll keep you guys updated as I find out more...

Would the pipe you're having fabbed up have a place to plumb in the BOV to recirc? the way the hotpipe I have w/ sheepdog BOV on it mounts the BOV faces towards the inlet pipe so I would just need a properly sized fitting coming off of the pipe, and a small peice of properly sized hose (probably harder to find that, its not a normal size) to join the two..
