well after a long night of actually working on my car, my friend my Tech at the shop fried my ECU we were running alot of test and basicly tracing every wire on the ECU with volt meters, well his dumb As$ read a schematic wrong and i put 12vs into somthign that didnt like it much we blew a fusable link and the ECU....

now i need another ECU i have a fab shop so if you want somthing let me know i can make it or get it made. want a ECU chip burnt thats possible also. i also need either a z32 or ca18det maf. i do have a SOHC ka maf but i would rather not have to rewire it again. if anyone has somthing let me know we can arange a payment or some sort of trade.

thanks in advance jon

as repayment for killing my ECU my friend is purchasing and helping me set up a megasquirt system. i will be sharing with everyone what it will take to make this work. and hopefully we get sucess at our attempt. im goin to be purchasing the unit this weekend and hope to start installationASAP

i believe you will need a megaquirt n spark, straight megasquirt doesn't do ignition control..

also, i might be intersted in getting that dead ecu for playing around with (so I don't screw up a working one) ..

yeah, im getting megasquirtII it controls both things. only problem is that it is on back order till almost AUGUSt. so im probably still goin to have to get a ECU so i can actually drive my car this summer.

ill email some people and see what im goin to have to spend for something temporary.

I might have one for you Jon. And I've got something you can trade me for too. I've got a STB that I need modified to fit a CA. It really wouldn't be hard. I just don't have a press to do it with. It was for a KA and has 2 bends it it. I think if it was straightend out and then had one bend put back in it, I could use it. I'm going to try and get my Hall sensor mount build on the second week of June so I won't need them after that.

OH WAIT! Do you think you could build me a Hall sensor mount? Hmmm, shoot me an email, will ya?

picked up my newest motor set today, so far looks pretty complete only need some new pistons as one had a broken ringlang. the harness was pretty hacked up by an attempted swap but i dont need it anyhow. i couldnt pass it up for 250$

tonight right after getting back to the shop i started pulling the fuel rail and injectors out of my motor to replace then with stockers, threw on the Ka24E maf,and put in a Stock ECU she fired right up! timming would adjust to perfect. seems my Chipped computer was a problem as i couldnt get the timming set with out Maxing out the CAS in one direction... she will rev right up fast and steady, doesnt smoke what so ever tomorrow after work i will compression test it then hopefully take her out on some shake down runs.

threw some plates off my accord on to her and took her home!!

about a mile from my house we heard tink ta tink somthing solid fell off the car, nothing seemed outa place comming up a hill my clutch pedal goes to the floor and wont come back... a bolt fell out of the slave cylinder luckily i could still pull the pedal back up and still get through the gears.quick fix at the house so shes running and is pretty healthy compared to before the rebuild...

only problem is i put a 2way an coilovers and alot of other crap all into the supension at once and have yet to get it alligned its not that bad but man this diff is starting to make me worry its not just loud but jerks roughly any one know how much your supposed to feel it when it locks up in slow turns?
