Wrecked S14 w/ RB20DET. Should I buy?

i dont think i'd pay 3500 for it.....

Maybe around 2k then get a S13 shell, put the rb20 and brakes, wheels and tires and seats in it and sell stuff that was on the S14...BUT thats me... . Dont know if anyone said that already...Good luck!

Funny thing, I was just going through the forum looking at random posts and came across this one. I actually ended up purchasing this car and am in the process of repairing the rear quarter. I bought a rear clip and am doing all work mmyself. The car is amazing inside and out aside from the damage. I love this car.

working at a body shop, i will tell you right now, that its not just that corner of the car or the rear of the car that has been affected. You need to take that car to a bodyshop and have them PULL and STRAIGHTEN the frame and check the entire car. Everything in the whole car could be off all the way up to the front bumper. Dont ask any questions just take my word for it. Ive seen cars like this, i hop you have bought the entire 1/2 of the car cause thats what you will need.

I have since found a nice shell at a local yard. Guy said he would sell rear half of car to me for $600. I'm not sure as to what im going to do because it IS a lot of work. But on the other hand, it gives me something to do. I took the car out a few times and it drives damn near perfect. I have no doubt, regardless of what I do with car, that I will keep the engine.
