Got behind a really nice sedan. It was dark grey and really clean looking. The bad mod was the black out covers on the tailights. In the daylight I could barely tell if he had his brakes on or not. Had such dark tint on the back windshield that you could barely see the brakelight there. I thought how stupid. All the trouble Infiniti goes to to make a nice safe vehicle and you put that crap on there so people can't even tell you are stopping.

Never was a fan of the blacked out lights. Looks good, not safe. :nono:

+1 on the fart can.

I'm nervous. We sit on the New Madrid faultline and it is 1/2 inbetween the earthquake in CO and the one in VA/DC.

:ohno:

There is a big difference between a glorified lawnmower engine and a fart-can, and a fine tuned engine with free flowing exhaust!

I really only have issues with the ebay cans that are welded on and pointed down, look retarded. A good catback is usually useful on most any car.

Mine for reference, though the red one has changed to something more subtle:

None. Garage runs the full length of the house, can hold 4 cars. Though I have lawn mower/tools/etc taking up half of one side.

Before I moved in and cluttered it up:

Clutter on the one side that I do all the work on and added some lighting:

this was on a G?

why would you black out the great infiniti tail lights? its a trade mark for crying out loud lol....

but on some cars like dodge chargers, if done right, look very nice with smoked tail lights. I do agree people make them too dark and it becomes a safety issue. People do half jobs on stuff, i mean if you going to smoke the tail lights, install a brighter bulb... problem solved.

thats just like when i see H0Nda cars with body kits, but the still have the rusty stock muffler, come on man!!!!

i can't stand completely dark tails also...however, I do like light smoke (dark red) around the edges but leaving the circles where the lights actually are alone. I just got those GTR style overlays on mine, so it does not obstruct the actual light at all.

F lawnmowers. Buy another car. :chuckle:

Nice garage. I bet it stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter too. When we built our house I wanted to put a drain in the garage so I could wash my car in the winter. It was REAL expensive to do though. :tisk:

Yeah Kay, it was a G. I like the G tailights. I don't see any reason to cover them up.

If I can save enough to get a building for the yard stuff, then I'll have room. But I've got another 3 years just to pay off my '03 G35.

There's 6-8 feet of concrete under my house, no drain for me. Drainage overall is an issue, corner of the garage likes to let in water in very heavy rain (coming through the concrete at sewer/water lines).

Not enough room to be practical everday for me. That's why I picked the G35 over the Z33.

If I got a Z at this point it would probably be a Z32 though, always wanted one, but doubt I'd want one as a daily driver.
