Step 1:

Check to ensure that you have the correct piece and that it fits.

Step 2:

Warm up each piece. You can either put them on your vents with the heat on high (warm) or use a hair dryer.

Image

Step 3:

Use alcohol pad to clean the area.

Image

Step 4:

Use the 3M adhesion that they provide you. Use on the corners. Do not apply to actual product.

Image

Step 5:

Peel a portion of the tape back.

Image

Step 6:

Place it on and slowly peel back the tape as you align it.

Image

Step 7:

Using a cloth, push down on the piece you have just installed. This will ensure that it bonds properly to the dash.

I love it. I've heard of granite counter tops, but this is better. Nice job, ILMV.

Thank you. I get numerous compliments on it all the time.

I ordered it off eBay. You can pick from a variety of colours too. :)

So far no issues. My car is kept in the garage and I always use a shade for the windshield when she's parked outside.

Well I live up in Canada so we only have blazing heat for a couple months of the year. But my car is really well taken care of so I am not worried about it.
And thanks. I really like it too, adds something different to the dash.

How did you get the piece around the shifter?

I has a small split in the piece, and the material is flexible so you can easily install it.

I'm considering one, but does anyone know how easily they can be removed if need be? And how would you remove them?
