I was wiring up the ca harness and it did not match up to the Ca transmission ecu. Am I missing something?

perhaps you are holding the wrong plug then?

take a pic of both plug and socket, then we will get somewhere.

I'm still confused, are you saying that that transmission ecu doesn't hook up, or just the ECU? Let me give you a hint, There is only one ECU....

My motor came with 3 computers the main Ecu which plugged in fine, then theres one the size of the transmission computer (the one that won't plug in) and a little one don't know where it goes.

The first pic is basically the same size as the computer under the center console. The other is a pic of a little computer but don't know where it goes. Did you guys change any other computers besides the ECU? Did your harness under the center console(armrest) plug into the jdm comp or did you stay with the same comp for the transmission?Help me!!! will try to get more pix and #'s from the boxes tomorrow.

It kinda looks like the power window controller that sits under the center console...

But granted, thats from afar.

Also, maybe its some kind of piggyback ECU.

So the comp under the armrest is for the power windows? Also for your swaps all you did is connect the transmission from under the car? No special comp for it?

It's easier to install the motor/transmission together. And no, there is no seperate computer for the transmission.

Dammit, its the seatbelt controller for S13's. Not S14's. Sorry...

I checked and it looks like it could be the ASCD (cruise control) controller.

Other similar objects based on size and shape are possibly an A/T controller, burgular alarm or the air bag controller.. The plugs are all there for any model, take your pick.

its so blurry its still hard to tell. higher resolution would help. Anyway are you using the dash wiring harness or something? You don't need anything from the donor car thats after the ECU plug. Plug the ecu in and wire the dash plug up and thats it. Unless its some sort of piggyback (doubtful).
