Dane, the Q45 harness is in the works! Should be a few months and we'll have them ready to run.

Keep an eye on the site!

Do you currently offer new KA engine harnesses? I'd be extremely interested in purchasing a newly made engine harness to replace my very worn out and brittle stock one. I'm sure others would as well. Please let me know, thanks!

That's awesome!
I'm still planning on purchasing the harnesses I emailed you about... I just need to get through with moving first (which is currently being held up by a sagging foundation and water in a crawl space) :(

:gotme I have a built redtop sr in a 90 s13 hatch that I have been having starting issues with for months, I have tried literally everything I can think of and everything that has been suggested to get the car to start via turn key method vs. Rolling down a hill ...... So I am tempted to get the tranny harness... I have pu a new starter on thinking that was the issue but it wasn't, checked all fuses, fusible links, ect. , ect. ...

Do you have any pictures of the s13 to s13 harness actually installed available??? Because I spent a great deal of time extending a few wires last night so I could tuck the bulk of my existing harness in the passenger fender...but anyways I am curious to see how much of the harness is visible in the engine bay because I am very interested in getting the tranny harness because I believe my starting issue LIES in the wiring somewhere and it would be nice to know all my hard work wasn't for nothing lol

I ordered a lower trans harness but for some weird reason the reverse sensor plug was different and I tried to use the old connector from the original sr20det redtop and it still didn't work. Any idea why those lower harnesses don't come with the sr20det oem reverse sensor connector?

Hi, I work at Wiring Specialties. Sometimes the previous owner swaps out the reverse sensor - that may be the case here. Or something else. Give us a call, you can email a picture to me at [email protected] and we can send out a pigtail or jumper. Easy fix.

Or you can see if your local parts store has a compatible KA24DE (same threads as SR) reverse switch with the correct connector. They are usually cheap, $10 -$20.

Thank you,

I purchased both main and trans harness from you guys..great work btw..wish I would of waited a little loner to get the custom harness you guys offer for the aem conections and iat and map sensor..but I gotta get under there this weekend and fix it because without having reverse lights is just asking for trouble when people are texting and walking all the time lol
