ok so i installed my aftermarket Tach from Sunpro.. i got everything wired except the internal illumination. I have the tachs power running to the ignition switch and grounded to a well...a ground.. and my tach readings wired to the wire off the ecu in Position 3. Any who i was wondering how i could get the light wired to the trucks light switch. Anyone have a clue?

Simply tap into an existing hot wire and a ground. If you have a glovebox lamp, an ashtray lamp or even the climate controls. That circuit comes alive when your parking / headlamps are on.That circuit carries a pink-blue stripe wire in my 90.

Use a fuse tap to give you a power source for lighting. Just make sure the source you use switches off when the truck is off.

Radio hot wire is easy to get to and will have enough power to light it when switch is on.
