Window Tint advice

I've done mine at 20% (really looks sharp on Black Obsidian body) and have had no trouble. Maybe your installer was talking about the metallic tint - which I would personally stay away from.

Make sure you get a good quality tint material - it makes all the difference in the world...

My old car was non metallic non ceramic. I was just saying that it's best to get the warranty in writing, and not a oh I'll remember you sort of thing.

Visible light transmission is only important to the extent it inhibits night vision. Even scotch tape will block most UV. The true test is infra red radiation rejection.
