I know the answer to this is probably no, but will a '89-'91 5-speed from a single cam KA car fit my '93 twin cam without modification? I just found out my warranty doesn't cover teardown and diagnostic, so I'm gonna try to get a used 5-speed and put it in myself.

Yes. Also I need to know the dimensions (length, width, height).

What do you need to know dimensions for? It is a direct fit, no mods. I think there is a sensor on the later models that isnt on the old trannys... I think its the crank angle sensor, but dont quote me on that. Might have to swap your bell housings to keep the one that has the sensor on it.

WTF!? that wouldnt be on the transmission, its in the distributor, there may be an extra speed sensor on the DOHC transmission, but not a crank angle sensor.

I think the sensor problem doesn't apply to S13s, but correct me if I'm wrong.

The "crank positioning sensor" is on the transmission (top of bell housing) on s-14s. Not on s-13s. Neglected to see that his was also an s-13.

Dont freak out 1dollar240....
