That is an old school HKS super blow off. It is potentially older than you. It is also broken. There should be a vacuum port on the back and about 99% of them have broken off, just like that one.

DO NOT put a non-dampened main pulley on your engine. The crankshaft needs the vibration dampening.

How do you know if a pulley is dampened?

None of the aluminum pulleys are. Leave the stock pulley on there.

Here is a decent BOVhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...70156

If you like the OS HKS and there is nothing wrong with that, they worked well back in the day. Notice the vacuum port is not broken.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...00078

The plastic 1st gen SSBOV or the old aluminum diomand shaped one; non-adjustable with the cute little exit pipe out the side? I have also worked with the old racing BOV, a beefy sumbitch comparable to the Greddy Type R.

Wow. That was a good one.

<threadjack>themadscientist:If it is not to much trouble, I would like to bounce some ideas off of you. I have a Euro S13 and the previous owner put R33 GTS brakes on all around. I have been doing some reading and see that the Z32 and R32 front stuff is the same for the most part, but what about the rear? Can I just get Z32 rear clipers, rotors, and pads and swap it in or are the two drum ebrake setups different? Those questions are not really worth another thread.</threadjack>

The Z32 uses the same internal drum type parking brake.

It's mine now. The new wife is not into cars. She drives a Tidda, a JDM Versa.

I have to, it wouldn't feel the same without it. I need to redo the doors but luckily I have a yard of the fabric left over. I have to strip the car to send it off to the body shop. I want all the rust removed, the gas door work is cracking so that must be redone and have it reshot the same color. The factory wiring harness is getting chucked in favor of a painless and I have the Haltech to run the engine when I am done building it. If all goes well it should be back out next year.
