I have a old set of calipers from a 90TT that were leaking. These calipers have had the"nissan" logo shaved off them and are a little flater in the front. I plan on getting the RH Evolution C2 wheels in 17x7.5(what offset should i get?) I would like to put these along with the rotors on my 240(S13 hatch) Does anyone have any expierences with whethet or not these wheels will fit? I don't want to use spacers or anything.

Also is redrilling the holes for 4 lug entirely safe? Won't it weakend the rotor with all those holes in it and so much material removed?

There are a few kit you can get for the 300ZX that come with brackets that move the caliper farther out from the hub and allow you to use 12.5 or 12.7" rotors. Would this be pushing it? I heard the clearance problem is with the spokes of the rim not the top.

All I need is the calipers, rotors, lines, and master cylinder correct?

I only plan on doing the front.

ThanksShawn

1. For the wheels you'll need atleast a +40mm offset to clear the calipers. Sense they are shaved you may be able to get away with a +42mm offset but i'm not sure.

2. Don't know for sure about redrilling rotors. I imagine it would weaken them but would it be to the point of falure, i don't know.

3. Never seen those kits before, but yes you'll have plenty of clearance with a 17" wheel.

4. Thats all you need to do the conversion on a s14 not sure about the s13. Not everyone does the master cylinder but to be safe i would.

with that offset on the wheels would it cause any abnormal tire wear? Any other bad side effects of this set up? What is th eoffset i would normally use with these wheels(with stock brakes)?

ThanksShawn

you can go as much as a +45 mm on stock brakes and struts. anywhere from 30-40 is recomended for 300zx brakes and coilovers.

Clearence has alot more to do with wheel design than most people think. but again, you should be fine with 17's.

Ok great so does anyone know if you can get the RH Evolutions C2's in 17x7.5 with a 40mm offset and the right bolt patern? (what is the bolt pattern for this car? 91 S13 hatch)

Also one of the calipers i have leaks. Can i have it rebuilt? Also can i go to autozone and buy new ones and use these as the cores?

Can i use the braided steel brake lines from the Z too?

Thanks for all you help.

Shawn
