My 2005 Maxima SE wheels and tires are 245/45R18 96V - 7.5Jx18 ET40
Could I put them on my 2017 Altima SR which uses 235/45R18 94V - 7.5Jx18 ET55

Without any noticeable issues with performance/handling/traction etc you guys think? (Sorry I don't know much about tires and such.)
Both have the same bolt pattern etc which is:

– Center Bore: 66.1 mm
– PCD: 5x114.3 (5x4.5)
– Thread Size: M12 x 1.25

Just a friendly heads up. Cross-posting (i.e. posting the same message in more than one forum board) is frowned upon. It's confusing and often counterproductive. Please choose the forum topic that is closest to your post, and place it there only. If you should create a post in one forum, and later realize it would be more appropriate in another forum, please delete the original before posting it again. Thanks.

Calculating the profiles shows about a 9mm difference in rolling diameter, which equates to about a 1.3% reduction in wheel speed. However, the speedo in your Altie is programmed about 1.5% low at the factory, so it will pretty much make your speedo spot-on accurate. So long as all 4 are changed over, I wouldn't foresee any issues with the ABS, VDC, or any other systems.
