WIll an exedy stage 1 clutch hold for a GT2871?

Hey guys i have a exedy stage 1 , im wrapping up the install on my s4s gt2871r and greddy manifold im expecting on making between 380 to 400 hp do you think the little bastard will hold up . Any body with prior exp ? Im getting a twin plate os giken with in a couple of weeks.

Torque is what destroys clutches, not horsepower. How much torque are you hoping to make, add some to that for fudge factor, then buy your clutch based on that number. If your clutch isn't rated for the torque you plan to produce, it wont last.

My stock clutch that came with my N/A SR slips going into 2nd and 3rd when i shift at redline.

im guessing its just wearing out.

it shouldn't do this right?

im guessing its nissan OEMsince the motor has around 50k on it

for a second or two....

the twin plate OS clutchs are nasty...my buddy has a jdm MR2 3SGTE I love his clutch

Yeah its a nasty clutch im getting it dirt cheap thanks to a good friend of mine. I hoping for 330 350 .

local clutch shops often make monster clutch disks for a fraction of the price.

I got a stage 3 disk for 175$.they also resurfaced my fly wheel for 15$

I got the OS Giken super single and that thing grabs hard. It took a good minute to get used to daily driving it. I'm not sure if you plan to dd yours, but I can't imagine driving a car with twin clutch daily.
