will a bad knock sensor put my transmission in safe mode?

my transmission is in safe mode(stuck in third), and i took it to aamco to get the transmission computer scanned and it had to connectivity, and when the engine cpu was ran it came back with a knock sensor code, will this put my transmission in safe mode?

A bad knock sensor will not affect the transmission. I've had one dead KS and the dreaded code since I bought my Q almost 2 years ago (shame on me) and the transmission is fine.
