will a 2004 maxima 6 speed manual transmission fit in a 2000 maxima?

ps. were any of the 6 speeds locking or limited slip?

Yes 04 6 speeds have LSD, The engine is the VQ3.5 so you have to check your engine code. I wouldn't imagine there being any problem swapping transmission's if the engines are the same, but check part numbers between the two seperate years.
