Wierd noises from transmission! plz help

Alright guys... i got my Z around sunday of last week and since then it has had loud noises coming from the transmission and drive shaft inside my car... i know its the shifter cover, bushings, and anything else related to the shifter because for some reason... everytime i have it in gear... it still feels like its in neutral lol!! anyways the noises im hearing sounds like the clutch or flywheel is just flappin in there when in gear and have the gas in... sounds kinda like a throwout bearing when bad...like a clack, clack, clack, sound... and when in 5th gear it makes a whiny wish noise... loud shhhhshshhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... any suggestions lol!! let me know thanks... also the transmission just got a new flywheel and clutch in

if the shifter support goes the bottom of the shifter can contact the U joint coming out of the trans, and since you said your shifter feels like it's in neutral you likely have a bad shifter support

hmmmm..... sounds logical... ill have to check that out but i just ordered new bushings, dust cover, and rubber seal for the shifter...
