Traded for necessities...parts and labor. Makes me sick now, but they did need a little work, so it's not that bad. Plus, the offset was totally wrong. The Cobra wheels are in better shape and a MUCH better fit. I'll find the perfect rims someday...maybe some Fikse or HRE's...if I win the lottery.

im goin for 18x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 in the back. i cant remember excactly what the offsets are but i remember that the back will have more of a lip than the front. but ive notcied that the s14 fenders go wider as they go up, so you can actually get rims that come out almost 2 inches before you really have to worry about rubbing the fenders. so thats the look im going with, probably with some 40mm tires so ill have the same overal rim and tire diameter as the stock 16's with 55s, that way it wont mess up my speedometer readings so that i'd have to get new speedo pins. but if your looking for some light a** rims, try rays or volk. i was looking at them, but at around $4-600 per rim for 18's, thats a little too rich for my blood. but they have alot of different widths with multiple offsets for every size. check em out if you can afford them though.

Where you guys find those WIDE @ss tires? i can't find anything that wide.

I been to a few local wheel shops and nothing everything is for 5 lugs 7" wide or FWD offset, 18 look sweet but it's going to be excesive weight in just rims, and i don't have the power to back it up :rolleyes

this is the widest i have seen

275 35 18 in the rear245 40 18 in the front with 10 mm spacer and longer studs

and people tell me that i CANT FIT 235 tires all around :chainsaw

I don't think I would ever consider going to any local wheel shops. I find it on the internet...wheels & tires. Hell, I get almost all my parts on the internet.

If it's tires you're looking for...I only go to two sites:

1) http://www.tirerack.com - great information and prices2) http://www.discounttiredirect.com - carry Nitto's...TireRack doesn't

I have actually seen a 240sx (s14) with the R34 Skyline wheels. They look huge but it seemed to fit all around. The wheels were 18x9 with 245/40/18 all around. I was wondering if anyone knew the offset of the R34 wheels????

i was also wondering if anyone knows if 18x8.5 with 225/40/18 and an offset of +35 would fit on a 1995 240sx?

Hi everyone, this is my first post on the forums, excuse the newbiness

Cnichols, a question about those rims. They look really good, and the wider tire is tempting, but would those be worth it on a stock S14? Would they be an upgrade from the stock 16" in terms of handling or would they rob too much power to helpful? What's their weight like compared to stock rims? I looks like you have a red-top in there so you don't have to care but some of us aren't as fortunate :)

The first year of the Cobra in the 90's was 93 and then they switched to the SN95 (94-98?) body from the Fox body (1979-1993).

Swap to 5 lug...4 lug looks stupid....especially on a 5 spoke rim.

Check out the second link in my signature...96 Cobra rims look much better in my opinion.
