ok so I know its a noob ? but what is/and the point of a wide band and if you get a wide band do you need a digital wideband gauge or do you just need a wideband digital gauge or just a wide band? thanks.

P.S. the point of a knock lite also ? thanks just trying to learn more bout the technical aspects or turbo.

The purpose of a wideband oxygen sensor is to see the air/fuel ratio your engine is producing, and is positioned in your exhaust. It allows to see where you need to add or remove fuel form your tune to achieve the desired air/fuel ratio. Here is a pretty good article about them, http://www.fordmuscle.com/arch...x.php. A digital gauge is needed to see the readout from the sensor, but you can also hook a laptop up to most wideband controllers and read the air/fuel ratio on it. Check out PLX and Innovative Motorsports, they have more information.

A knock light tells you when the engine is knocking due to detonation.
