I could kill...without remorse...

Found out today that my paint guy had set my bumpers out (yes the ones I imported from Germany from a Nissan Sunny Zx), and the garbage man picked them up thinking they were trash...

Sorry to hear about your troubles bloke, that is really quite poor on your painters part. I guess it's one of those bizzare situations, but it should be a learning experience for the painter as he will now have to replace your parts.

One thing that gets me is, why would you leave customers gear outside in the first place?

And not only that, near to where the garbo picks up your garbage

That is an inexplicable fail on his part!!

I hope it can be sorted for you quickly...

Well basicaly the painter had set the bumpers out to prep his paint booth (garage) to paint them. It got late and he forgot he'd left them in front of the garage. Even though they were left in front of the garage on the blacktop, his garbage pick up is from the side of his garage (about 15 feet away).

He's already offered to pay for the expenses to cover them. Luckily, we'd removed the ground effects pieces from the rear bumper and there is no difference between the domestic sentra xe bumper and the sunny one.

As for the front bumper, I didn't know before hand but they likewise are identical to the domestic bumper (which I already have one), but it has a lower ground effect section that bolts on.

I've already contacted a guy from Germany and he has two of them...

So at least I can replace this stuff...It's just paint dude is gonna have to pay like 200 bucks shipping from Germany!

Btw, is this not the hottest B12 sentra you ever seen? Soon as I get this bumper crap behind me, i gotta get the ca18det in it running good (it idles terrible).

I've located a part from a guy in Dresdon, Germany. Unless you can find a junked 87-90 Nissan Sunny ZX and get me the lower half of the front bumper...
