Couple days when I went out to go to work I found my V egged....and for what? So someone can feel special about themselves? The second day I had my V I gave it to the dealer to fix some shiz from when I bought it and the first night my rental got egged. Then when I got my car back about 2 weeks later my V got egged. I cant stand that, took about an hour to clean up and left alot of scratches on the clear coat :\. Ive used turtle wax on it about 6 times since then and Ive had my car for almost a year and the scratches still arent gone.Ever Victorious wrote:I woke up on saturday morning to the side of my house being egged.
That depends more on the depth of the scratch than anything. If it's scratched to the primer or metal, you're right. You can't just buff it out. You can use touch-up paint to help conceal it, or you can repaint the car.Vahagn23 wrote:2 things, SCRATCHEs lol wont go away unless u repaint ur car,

But if the scratch is in the clear or the first layer or two of paint, then buffing it CAN remove the scratch... If you don't believe me, go back to my Rambler thread and look at the pictures of the hood after buffing it... the left looked like the right BEFORE it was buffed.
This is true. What buffing does is it moves some of the paint from the high spot into the low spot to mask it. It does a better job than touch up for small scratches because it doesn't add more material to the high spot like you're bound to get with touch up paint.Vahagn23 wrote:lol what I meant was scratches wont go away by itself.
It has got nothing to do with Honda. They are just punks and lack the common decency and respect for others. They could be driving a Toyota or a Nissan and nothing would have changed.fastlyfe wrote:ThAT IS just the way honda people roll.
So if you apply several coats it will come out good? Cause when me and my friend applied it to his car it was alot darker. We only applied 1 coat though. lolVahagn23 wrote:The touch up paint really does work and is almost exact. Had a really bad scrach on the side fender in the back by someone who thought my car was part of the curb while they double park. Used the paint once it looked like the wrong paint, then I did it couple more times over it, and if you look at it you cant find the spot.![]()
