What did you paint your wheels with? Did you have to sand them or anything first?

from the can in the picture (on the right) its called Plasti-dip. Its a liquid rubber in an aerosol can that dries a flat black. No sanding needed. Just clean what you spray and do a few coats

Nice that looks good with your color. My Rogue is Black so I don't know how that would look. It might be ok with a matte finish... That area on mine is getting pretty chipped up from gravel and whatever s*** is on the road.

So, today I went to a windows tinting shop and got done the front and back seat windows @ 45%, the sun-visor area @ 20% and finally I took on Leo2005's steps and got also my tail lights done (not as dark as his since I wanted them to look like it was factory smoked).

Lights Off

I was paying more attention to the pics, and I found something that needs to be done for it to look complete. And that is, that I forgot to tell the shop to tint the third brake light. I'm waiting for them to reply with an appointment to tackle that job.

good point. and i read your other post about doing the roof wrap. i think you should do the black spoiler/black roof. on a white car that would look AMAZING.

ImStricken, do you have any recommendations for the vinyl that I should get? We need to keep in mind that Winter is around the corner, and I need something that can take on the weather (basically rain and snow).

Edited: I did some research and if I do this, I might go with "HEXIS Cast Multilayer Vinyl Gloss Black". I love some features about this product: Superior resistance to UV rays, chemicals (such as alcohol, diluted acids, oils and hydrocarbons), and other environmental factors.

I just need to figure out how much vinyl I will need...

It would be a lot easier to paint them. Tinted tail lights is PITA on this car. There's no way you'll be able to tint the whole tail light and that's why these lines are cut out. I tried to tint them myself but there's too many curves. Gave to the local tint shop...they worked 2 hours on each tail light and later I had to come back 3 more times because 1 tail light was coming off all the time:

i have used Rvinyl.com for many projects, and every time its great stuff. from tinting my windows using their film, to the carbon fiber, etc = EASY TO USE GREAT STUFF.
