When my car idles in neutral with the clutch pedal up it makes a faint whirring noise. I can only hear it when I'm in a quiet place (no traffic). Is this something to worry about, could the cluth be misaligned? Thanks for any help...

Could be the Throw Out bearing. Had the same problem. If it gets worse, I would change it.

Yep, its the throw out bearing. It's not a big deal, but it's usually a sign that your clutch will start to slip soon.
