My 2012 Altima Coupe started a whine in the CVT that I suspect was caused when the shop did not use NS2 transmission fluid.
So, my question...... I wonder if they change the fluid to use NS2, what are the chances that the whine will go away?
Thanks in advance. (BTW I had the fluids changed because the car went over 100,000 miles.)

Some fluids are noisier than others, but frankly NS2 is very noisy. So I doubt that's your issue. Make sure they didn't overfill it, that will not only cause noise but also doom the belt. Half a quart over will kill it eventually, a full quart will kill it in a big hurry.

Thank you so much for your information.
Not having slipping in trans. I believe the trans is OK.
Shop analyzed and turns out to be front wheel bearing, on one side.

Very common at both ends of Altimas of all ages and stripes. You're most welcome.
