hey there i recently purchased my first car EVER a 97 j30t for about 1500 dlls and i am very happy with it now ill admit im a noob so i took it to a mechanic and had him check the car out he said the was in perfect condition exept for the fact that it needed a new mass air flow sensor wich i bought and replaced now he told me i might want to replace the spark plugs but after reading a few threads here in the forums i see that i should only use ngk but my question is which ngk spark plugs will fit this car i whent to autozone and the guy gave me a list of about 6 or 7 different ngk spark plugs and i didnt nkow which to get now im not going to put the cheapest ones i can find but given the fact that i just spent 1500 bucks on the car plus registration fees and the maf sensor wich cost me about 450 dlls i cant afford the top of the line ones so maybe someone here could help me out a litle and tell me wich are the decent spark plugs for my car thanks in advance

I just recently replace mine. They were completely burnt at the end. I don't think they had ever been replaced. I just went to the NGK website(http://www.ngk.com) and just ordered them straight from the manufacturer. They're $12.06 a pop ($72.36 for all 6). But they breathed new life into the car. Haven't had any problems with them, i know a lot of other people have problems when the buy any but the PFR5G-11.

About 6 months ago my dad put those E3s in. He didn't notice any change at all. It's easy to pay a lot for a spark plug and not get anything out of it.

It's better to invest in something expensive, than go for cheap and end up spending even more.
