I have a 2006 m35x, black obsidian with black leather interior with the tech package and nav package with the 13 speaker bose sound system. Added a roof and rear deck spoiler, added a subwoofer and bumped up to 20 inch wheels, have not lowered it yet. Upgraded my headlights and fogs to 8000k and added led interior lighting. Going to add rear video and do the emergency brake bypass. Also added bluetooth streaming for music, and did a window tint. Added turn signals on my mirrors and added the ghost lights with the infiniti emblem when I open my doors, also added a carbon fiber interior trim kit and headrest pillows with the infiniti emblem front and back!

Hey guys!

I have probabaly the only Y34 M45 in central europe. :D Mine is a 2003 and it's been shipped from the us in the year 2014. Probably 3rd owner. Don't know much, it was standing a lot, but trying to be a better owner. Absolutely adore it, it's damn straight stunning. Silver with tan interior, maple inlays but no cooled seats. That ain't cool. (Looking for those btw)

2008 Infiniti M35 Base, White Pearl with Navigation and heated/cooled seating. 87K miles. Picked it up a couple months ago as a daily replacement for a 2000 Accord V6.

Love the VQ engine, especially love the handling. I'm enjoying the luxury touches like the memory seat/mirror functions, keyless entry, automatic day/night mirror, and heated/cooled seats. The Climate Control in my Accord worked better, but the M does have dual zone. Love the backup camera (my first). Hate the cracks in the dash. All in all, this is a great daily driver and very fun to drive. Enough power for my needs in a daily and feels really fast after toodling around in my 79 Accord and really luxurious after hooning around in my Miata.

Glad to have found a good support web site and forum. Thanks, NICO.

Hi there. My name is Brett Berk and I'm a freelance automotive writer. My work appears regularly in a wide range of publications including Autoweek, Autoblog, Architectural Digest, Bloomberg Businessweek, Car and Driver, Departures, Hagerty, Men's Health, Road & Track, Vanity Fair, The Verge, and WIRED.

I'm currently working on a story for Automobile magazine about the 2003-2004 Infiniti M45 and am looking to interview someone with deep expertise and enthusiasm in this model--perhaps someone like the moderator of this forum. If you fit this description, or know someone who does, please reach out to me. I only need one interview for this story, so I really want to make sure it's the right person.

Thanks so much.

Yours,
Brett

Exactly like the one I have! Very nice indeed. :)

I recently crossed past 200,000 miles and it is starting to show its age though.

Hey Guys,

I own a 2006 Nissan Fuga with 20" Vossen wheels, AP Racing 6 pot brakes, Tein springs, DC headers and a G Reddy Trust Exhaust. I am also in need of some help. I can't seem to find the VIN plate anywhere! I searched it everywhere including all the door side sills and under the bonnet. I basically need to find out the color code of my car. Would be great if somebody could help. Thanks in advance!

For the car ID info, in the US cars, there is a VIN sticker in the driver door jamb. Basically, while facing the door switch, you will see 2 stickers.
The 2nd place there is a metal VIN plate is in the engine bay, on the passenger (battery) side strut tower area. Once you remove the side plastic covers of the engine room, you'll see it.

If that all fails, the VIN is etched on the firewall and there is a plate on the dashboard, visible though the bottom left (US) corner of the windhsield. Maybe your importer can use connections to give you the info.

Maybe I should ask, what color would you describe your car as?

Hello All! I recently purchased a 2010 Infiniti M35x. So far I am very impressed with the looks, performance, and especially the acceleration of the car. I look forward to learning more about these cars and personalizing for my taste.

Hi all. Over the 4th of July week I purchased a 2006 M35 Sport with 40k miles. It needs a few maintenance things (tires (still on the originals) brakes, fluids, etc... The headliner is falling and the dash is cracked. Seems common on cars of this age. I am trying to chase down why the 1 and 3 buttons don't work on the radio. Thought it might be the face plate, but it isn't. Going to try the ribbon cable next. Had a FX35 about 10 years ago and really enjoyed that car and this one reminds me of it a lot. Here are some pics.

Hey guys/gals, I am back in an Infiniti again. Previously I had 1998 and 2000 AE Q45's. Finally - I now have my dream car - 2004 M45. Just got it - mint condition, Florida owned with 59,250 miles. SOOOO psyched. All I need is to get OEM front mats and I will be all set. Any ideas where to get OEM mats the 2003/04 M45? Thanks in advance.

How many watts rms are you pushing? Did you upgrade alternator and if not are you having any lights dimming or any issues with the amp overheating?

Very new to the Infiniti Family. Picked up my first yesterday after reading tons of reviews and lots of posts on here before the purchase.

Picked up a 2009 M35x. I still have alot to learn about it, but so far I love it. Only 47k miles, all service records.
Coming from a dad-bus (mini-van) to this is a huge change. Used to race Miatas and anything else others would let me teach them in (Subarus, Lotus, Porsche, S2000, Civics, etc). For the luxury and power this is a lot of fun in just under 200 miles so far.
Looking forward to a lot of little tweaks and updates. Will be used for business trips ~500 miles twice a month, then an around town car through the twist backroads.

Anything anyone recommends to do first thing? Purely base stock setup.

Welcome aboard, CJ!

I'm always a fan of spending the first 1000 miles taking care of maintenance, but it sounds like that's all been kept current.

Upgraded tires are usually your biggest bang-for-the-buck improvement. 255/40ZR18 would give you a little wider contact patch, not appreciably affect speedo reading (2% at 65mph), and look awesome.

Hello everyone. Brand new to the forum. I have a 2009 Silver M35 with 177k miles. I’m the second owner and I’ve had it for about 7 years and have put just over 100k miles on it. One of the best cars I’ve ever owned. I’m glad I found this forum.
