Welcome and nice car
Thanks, needs a lot of work, I've had it for over 2 years now and done nothing to it besides oil change and pretty soon a tune up. ;)

Coming from a 06 Maxima its been a year since I had the 08 35 impressed so far better in every way imaginable. I bought the M with 70,000 and so far only oil changes and brake pads all around.

I just joined Nicoclub. My name is Ted Paisley aka TheCablePro. I bought a 2006 M35S in August of 2015 with 150,000 miles on it. Brakes were shot, ran sluggish, but 2nd owner had a stack of receipts from the dealer. Every time the car hiccuped he took it in. Figured it was something fixable and bought it cheap. Immediately installed midrange Powerstop rotors and pads, stops well now! Discovered the air cleaner was in there way too long, replaced it with K&N unit, runs like a champ.

Just received Tein H series springs today as well as KYB struts/shocks all the way around. Wasn't going to pony up $1400 for the OEM stuff. Called local dealer to verify that the non-sport struts/shocks would be compatible. I hope he's right. Guess I'll find out when I do the install this weekend. Want it just a bit lower with more stability but I hope it retains its relatively smooth ride.

Almost forgot, installed TBW engine tray in black. Wow! Love it! Stabilizes most of the plastic including the bumper cover. Took the silly, minuscule, broken front spoiler off and filed it in the round file under miscellaneous (trash can). Replaced front sway bar bushings and stabilizer links, feeling much more solid now. Went with the Moogs, like the smooth quiet ride. Am doing the same in the rear when I install the other new suspension parts.

Trying like hell to improve the mpg. The thing needs another gear or two. 3000 RPM at 80mph, not real efficient. Lotta fun for a pretty big car though. Hasta la vista.

Will post pictures when this round of upgrades is done. Looking forward to all that Nicoclub has to offer. Hope I can contribute as well.

Between me and you I might go back to 22s with the M Its taking me some time to adjust to not being on low profiles I still dodge potholes. Probably a good CAI too that Rover SC 2012 I had the other day for some reason the MPG didn't seem as bad as the M35 08 i'm only average 22 on the highway RR about 23. I definitely miss that Maxima but the M has proven to be more solid especially on the reliability.

blackY, love the roof spoiler/lip... Not sure what the technical term is. But I have a 2006 M35 Moonlight white/light tan interior. I have had it for nearly 3 years now, but just joined here.

Thanks man! Usual term for it is a roof spoiler. Yeah this forum is really helpful to learn anything and everything for the M

2006 M35X. Absolutely love this car! 178K. Largest expense was front drive shaft ~$400+ 80 to have it installed. Replaced both cats too. Replace both rear struts, all wheel hubs, inner and outer tie rods now want to replace front struts.

hello all...havent checked in for quite some time...a little update on my car...2006 M35X...my car just clicked past 235,500 miles on the original engine, transmission, rear and front diff, as well as the center diff, i purchased it with just under 100k on the odo...in addition to normal maintenance, over the 5 years ive owned this wonderful car ive had to replace the front drive shaft, both front wheel bearings, the radiator (that one was weird...split the top tank right down the middle), upper drivers side control arm, and a few odds and ends here and there...initial investment in the car was roughly 14k...ive put an additional 4k into it for major repairs...current tires are the Continental Extreme Contact DWS in standard 18" wheel fitment...no suspension upgrades...i did do the Megan Racing exhaust and the HR Y pipe conversion...ive had to replace the y pipe 2 times and the second one was repaired 3 times...the exhaust has more than 80k on it and zero rust on the pipes...flanges are rusted but are holding very strong and no leaks...i drive this car all year round so some rust is to be expected on the body...i do take very good care of my car and wash it as often as i have time for...it has been very very reliable and has only left me stranded once...but that was my mistake...put the wrong plugs in and didnt check...

sorry for the long post, id post pics but i have forgotten how to...like i said...its been a long time since i posted...

cheers,

Hans Malloy

How's it going everyone, my name is Ramel and I'm from New York. I'm new to this forum and just purchased a 2010 Infiniti M35x Base in October 2016. I would have liked to purchase one with the advanced technology package but to me that translated to more things that will break and cost money. I used to drive a 2010 Acura TSX, which I miss more and more everyday. The Infiniti I bought seems to have an acceleration problem. I have to bring it to the dealership in two weeks to try and find the problem (I'm hoping it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg). So far, I purchased a set of Pirelli Cinturato All Season tires and new brakes and rotors all around (Power-Stop drilled and slotted rotors), changing all the fluids this weekend (if it doesn't snow here), waiting on the serpentine belt to arrive in the mail (belt squeaks badly when its cold outside). After regular maintenance, I think I'll really love the car. My uncle has the 2008 M35x fully loaded and I love it! So I'm hoping mine will be fixed at the dealer so I can start loving it lol. I don't know how to upload pictures so sorry about that.

Sorry for the long post and by the way, stm37s you have the best interior combination!
