I searched around for a better flow fuel filter, I saw one that made by FARM HPG-1 , it is like the size of a oil filter? is it a good one, would it lost any psi . I saw another one made by EFI , cost more but look nicer and they said it only lost .15psi ?

my turbo setupt3stock mafe-manage370ccfmu

I saw most of the car put the stock maf before the compressor with the JWT setup, and some of car put it after the compressor and they said they can read it with my setup. I just want to double check for who those using my setup , where they put the stock MAF when they first start the car and tuning? should i put it after the compressor during tuning or just leave it before the compressor? I am thinking to get a 300zx MAF instead , but then the fmu would be pointless. let me know what you think. thanx

won't need fmu with emanage, it controls injectors.go with z32 mafs, supports high HP well.use 300zx TT ff.

Hmmm... andrave is right. You don't need and fmu if running an emanage. Then again you seem to have some of your facts mixed up since using a 300zx MAF doesn't have anything to do with an FMU.

teh filter should not be an issue unless it blocks a very large amount of fuel. For small variances, the fuel pressure regulator will keep the fuel pressure where it should be.

oh btw I think you can use the greddy pressure sensor instead of a bigger mafs with e manage... Z32 mafs cost so much these days it might be just as economincal to get the pressure sensor.

what I was thinking was:

E-manage - Control the injector pulse (adjust for the bigger injector), retard the timing , mointor the oem maf so i won't go over 5.0v out of the stock ecu fuel map?add additional fuel map?

FMU- Increase the Fuel rail pressure. 255 fuel pump- flow more, higher pressure for the fuel system. so are you guys saying the stock ECU with e-mange would control the stock Fuel pressure regulator ?

I've already installed both unit E-manage and FMU . can I just use both? safer?

also I have got the Fram HPG1 , I got it for a good deal (new for 24.99) can i just use it instead of my stock one? how much fuel pressure I should expect in Idie and running 2000rpm 3000rpm 4000rpm 5000rpm 6000rpm

my car should be able to start on tuesday, can anyone tell me where I shoudl put the MAF at( before or after the compressor) for tuning?and normal driving?. I am using a T3 , I guess it's not a problem if I just put it after the compressor right?I am justy worry if it can't read the boost if I put it befor ethe compressor, correct me if I am wrong. Thank you once again for all the input! once I get it start it I will let yo know ...another Ka TURBO ^_^

um, it reads air flow, and you are flowing the same amount of air no matter where you put it in the intake. before the compressor is the standard but if you are venting to atmosphere with your blow off, then after the blow off and compressor might make more sense. The thing with using FMU and a system like e mange is that e manage increased the amount of fuel you get by modifying your injector duty cycle and such... your FMU adjusts the fuel delivered simply be increasing the pressure in the fuel rail, so that for each pulse the injectors deliver more fuel.If you do them both you will have to lean it out at higher RPMS/boost because it will be like a multiplier effect.

so how much fuel pressure I should expect when I start the car? running? I assuming that if it is close to what you guys told me with my setup( fram fuel filter)? I shoudl be set ?
