which exhaust for a 92

I was wanting to know which exhaust i should get for my 92 240. I dont know the difference in the tone between 2.5 inch and 3 inch? Or if there is even a difference. I would also like some suggestions on which brand is best for the money. I dont want something cheap but i dont want the most costly.

this is my car with an ebay N1 style exhuast from japan importits 3 inch catback i also took out the cat and replaced it with a 3 inch test pipe!! woot!
