I bought my 2008 350z back in may and now I'm ready to Lower. Thing is, which set of Nismo coilovers would be best for my z? Or if anyone has any other brand besides nismo (Like Tein or JIC) Please give advice! Greatly appreciated! Here is my 350z

http://www.thenismoshop.com/ik...=1068Here is a link to the clearance section of the nismo shop. They have eibach and tien both on sale. I bought from them and they have fast shipping.

Oh hell Yeah! Hokies all day everyday. But yeh I kinda noticed they weren't coilovers. But yeh I'm seriously thinking of either Nismo Or Tein. Havn't decided yet but I will be getting them within the next two weeks! But do u think I should drop it 1.5 or a whole 2 inches???

hey all...first post here.....

i (although Zless ATM) would strongly suggest the TEIN Flex C/O's.....

i have had 3 TT's one N/A, some fd rx7's and a supra....i have had many different typed of coilovers, and can definitely with out a doubt say that the tein flex are the best riding coilover that i have ever driven on...

i have ownes the HKS hypermax, koni adj's with eibach springs, JIC c/o's and set of tanabes too....

you would NOT be chosing poorly with any of the other ones that i mentioned, but for a DD car, not overly fast, and not tracked too often, you will definitely love the tein flex....

YOu know - it'd be helpful if you provided what you intend to do with the car. Saying "which coilovers" is kind of like going to a bar and asking the bartender "what beer should i have" but not telling him what you like.

Are you planning on tracking it? Do you plan on keeping the car for over 3 years, EG not trade it in? Are you planning on running stickier tire s(or r-compounds)? how much do you favor ride comfort over response/dry cornering?

YOu can start pairing down your options from there...

Oh yeah - what's your price range?

Hey bro, good point. I'm not planning to track it at all so I been told by a couple friends that the tein mono flex coilovers would be best because I'm looking for that 1.5 - 2 inch drop without sacrificing ride quality..At least to a minimum. But in your opinion, what u think about the tein mono flex coils? I heard nothing but positive feedback on them..On a serious note. I guess you can say that I'm building my z more for the show case than for the track..honestly because I jus want enough power to show up most people on the street...Thats it. I only plan to add 50-100 more HP and I'm finish with the performance bro. Volks are on the way from japan in 3 months (Mynismo.com/Rays) and maybe, MAYBE a Nismo wing. But I'm not sure bout that yet.

so obviosuly street only...FYI - anything ver abut a 1" drop on a Z is insane...they;re low from the factory....

in that cae, the NISo S tune set is like a 3/.4" drop which looks nice, handles well outof the box..is facory and won't cause issues might be your best option.

if you want bragging 'coilover' rights - eibach makes a great street-valved coilver that should last you the lift of the car. TEIN's flex (my setup soon to be changed) is a good otion but the 12/12 spring rate is a bit stiff to be honest.

You could also talk to SPL and grav a nisce 10/8 oe 11/10 setup and run on that happily ever after...

but for street, running around and factory no-issue ****...go either Eibach or NISMO.
